Deflattermouse / Ferret F4

Raced by Alec Purdy at 1975 Runoffs at St. Jovite. Should be F4 and Vintage eligible. Monocoque center tub with front and rear tubular sub frames. Was built with 2 cyl air cooled BMW and Hewland Mk9. The last owner, Bill Vine removed the drive train and side pods with the intent of installing a water cooled Honda. Package includes frames (including removed side pods), body parts and molds, chrome suspension with double threaded adjusters, Spax coil covers, fuel tank, 2 sets of wheels (one mag, one aluminum), rads, and various small parts.



Johnny Walker F-4

1964 Johnny Walker F-4, complete, but apart, equipped with a Triumph Bonneville 650cc engine with a Joe Hunt magneto, alloy wheels, and JW manuals. The car is presently in South suburban Chicago, IL, USA.

This is Xpit chassis 406, CASC chassis 3-323. It was originally registered to Doug Weaver and then passed through several hands, eventually ending up on the west coast, where I acquired it in 2009. It was originally powered by a CB750, then later a GSXR-750, and was at some point returned to CB750 form. I have been racing it since 2010 in the BC vintage series in its original, non-wing CB750 configuration.

The car is currently located in Surrey, BC, just outside Vancouver.

While essentially stock in configuration, the CB750 engine has numerous upgrades that improve reliability and, to a lesser extent, performance.

Balanced crankshaft
Forged Carrillo connecting rods
Reinforced rocker cover (rocker tower braces) as used on factory Honda race engines
Modified float bowl sumps (for operation under lateral G)

In addition, the deal includes the following components that could be assembled into a much more powerful (but still F-Four legal) engine.

Hilborn mechanical fuel injection system (with pump)
836 cc kit (larger-bore cylinder barrel and matching pistons)
Ported cylinder head with enlarged valves

Because of the large number of CB750s made, engine and transmission components are readily available from Honda dealers or online sources such as Bike Bandit and Vintage CB750. That's handy if you plan to keep the car in vintage form.

A large number of spares and related components are included.

Front and rear wings (not currently being used, but fully functional)
Side radiator pods
Rear lower A-arms
Rear uprights
Many Honda components (cylinder heads, starter motors, clutch components, transmission bearings, etc.)
Drive sprockets of various sizes
A second set of rims, with rain tires mounted

In addition, critical chassis dimensions and most custom components have been modeled in 3D CAD, facilitating their re-fabrication should that be required. CAD files are included as part of the deal, if you desire them (SolidWorks 2010 format).


Gamma MKII

Bob Long’s 2008/2009/2010 Formula Four Championship winning #34 Gamma-II F4 - $18,500.00.

It has Drisk brakes, invisible pivot front suspension, 30 litre fuel cell and on-board fire suppression. Is powered by a 750cc Suzuki GSXR with electronic fuel injection and dry sump, with a best ever time at Mosport of 1:25.179.
